1991 NL Pittsburgh Pirates

The Pittsburgh Pirates have picked up where they left off at the All Star break. Their 3-1 victory tonight over the Cincinnati Reds is the Pirates 13th in a row. Pittsburgh has now opened up a double-digit 10 game lead over 2nd place St. louis in the NL East.

streaking Pittsburgh Pirates coming out on top of the Cincinnati Reds by the

Pittsburgh jumped on top of Cincinnati in the top of the 7th inning scoring
one runner on 3 base hits.  Pittsburgh had 10 hits for the night while
Cincinnati had 7.  
 
Drabek was helped out by Stan Belinda who recorded his 13th save.  Pittsburgh
added another win to their mounting winning streak.
