Boston's Roger Clemens got his 20th win of the season and Jeff Reardon recorded his 36th save. Meanwhile, Juan Guzman was shutting out the California Angels and the Toronto Blue Jays came away with a 5-0 victory. The Blue Jays have now pulled within a .5 game of the Tigers in the AL East.
