Game 2 of the 1991 World Series was another pitching battle and this time the Pittsburgh Pirates came out on top 3-1. Doug Drabek and the Pittsburgh bullpen combined to keep Chicago from scoring whenever the White Sox had an opportunity. And the White Sox had many opportunities, leaving 13 men on base during the game. Manager Jim Leyland used his bullpen to perfection to thwart Chicago. He used 7 pitchers in all to secure the Win for the Pirates and even the Series at 1 game apiece. The teams will travel to Pittsburgh now for Games 3,4, and 5.

Drabek had a steady outing. He went 5 and 2/3 innings and surrended up 7 hits
and 3 walks. Chicago threatened in the 9th but their rally came up short.
Stan Belinda gained credit for his 1st save. 'It wasn't my best outing, but
I'll take the win' Drabek said.
